Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, or simply 'Les Voiles', is the place to be for anyone with a passion for sailing and legendary yachts. Throughout the week, regattas take place between historic boats and ultra-moderns. On land, the spectacle is simply breathtaking. The village celebrates and the port becomes the nerve centre of the event. You can't help but admire these floating works of art.
The 18th edition of Les Voiles promises to be a great one. The ball gets rolling on Saturday at 9am when the first competitors are welcomed to the village set up for the occasion in the harbour.
Some big names have been announced. Sébastien Josse, Philippe Monnet, Marc Pajot, Bruno Peyron, Lionel Péan and Marie Tabarly will all be at sea and on land, some opting for a carbon sail, others for a vessel more than a hundred years old.
